The BEAN VS BUCKS !!!!

Ahhh yes the long debate...If you have ever lived in Los Angeles or have passed through here,on some sort of I need to find myself journey "Maybe LA-LA land is for me "...But thus realizing...ehhh umm NO..This is not for me..and moving to say maybe Atlanta or some other crap place..lolol..(slight dig to a friend)..The point being This particular conversation has come up more then once..Usually while two or more people are driving around town,and or some poor Schleppy PA has to go and Sherpa a BUTT-Load of Coffee back to set for the jackass director/producer and the DP.....
The QUESTION IS BEAN OR BUCKS?????????
Now I consider myself quite the connoisseur of the JAVA Bean..as Im sure You,and quite a few other people around the world do too.But if we are talking about plan ole PURE black coffee??..with no LATE-esk/mocha/vanilla/half this -half that/blended this -blended that...Crap...But just the taste of coffee...?..I have to give the edge to the Bucks..
Starbucks-While quite the power house of coffee-Does seem to have a certain sort of basic taste to their coffee..Its very Big and Burnt(they call it Roasted) and slightly more acidic then most others..They also seem to have there own Language AKA-"The Tall-The Grande-TheVenti-the last two being Italian in origin and are clearly more fun to say..Though they kinda have a Mafia nickname thingy goin on..They're workers are called Barsitas and there is and over all Cooperate vib to place.But the workers if you have noticed are most always very well trained ,friendly and quick..Starbucks basic ideology is the customer shouldn't have to wait more than 3 minutes..So lines though sometimes as we know, can be very long there,usually move pretty fast for the most part,and if theres a small problem(in this persons experience) they always give you a FREE Coffee or a gift certificate for one..Thus making you come back..I do have one quick story of a friend of mine,who called the 800 number to Bucks and told them that "they charged too much money for a cup of coffee,and HE was just unhappy that they did that"..Swear to the man upstairs himself..My friend did this..Bucks response ???..They sent him a Booklet of free Coffee coupons for his Diatribe...Unreal ?..yes..but smart..VERY SMART...
Lets get to there food..Scones sorted sandwiches,fruit cups(Rio Citrus being one of my Fav's) muffins cold pasta..and cakes..All for the most part pretty good and tasty...
Now to the Coffee Bean...Im not even gonna into the "Tea leaf " part because well..were talking about Coffee not TEA...or as they say in DA South..Tahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Anywho ,Bean is the MASTER of the Blended....I mean Really ,I would put there Mocha/Vanilla with Carmel and whipped cream up against any..Shake,Egg Cream(Its and East Coast thing) or any other neighborhood Shake Place..When one goes to the Bean one has to see the clear Hipster/Indie Vib in the place..Especially the one on Faifax and Sunset...Nobody clearly works,they just sit there all day and smoke and talk on their phones..ummm...P.S used to do it all the time..lol..Quite frankly I miss it..But hey gotta work right..???
Sorry sidetracked ,so the Beans basic Black Coffee????..Anyone EVER EVER HAD ONE ???..Im sure your saying Holy Crap ???. I don't think I have ???...Well I assure you no matter what time, or what DAY you go ??..They will have Three different kinds on Tap,and ya know what ?..They ALL taste the SAME!!!..I cant figure it out!! Seriously!!!...The flavor is kinda delayed and then theres this weird after taste..Like Chemically..Except we don't eat or drink Chemicals..But I know you have all been there right?..some weird Food that seems Slightly enhanced...and it somehow Tastes like a Bad smell you cant place?.....
Now on to Beans Food-

fruit and Sandwiches ?????...Anyone ? Bueller?? Bueller???? Anyone ? Anyone?...Yah..let me help you ..They dont have emm...Nuff Said....:)
Walkers Shortbread Cookies-Freakin Fantastic....Not getting me in there though..
All &ALL not VERY Promising what so ever....oh yeah ..they have Cakes!!! Whoopie!! What am I five????
Now Im sure theres lots of people out there that drink Maxwell house, or have been simply out at a fine dinning Restaurant and had the Waiter Secretly (shhhh) switch your normal Cup of Coffee for some FOLGERS !!!!..mmm huh ???..Havent we all been there..???? But be that as it may,everyone has and opinion about something..and well I think you know mine...Tough Nuggies if you don't like it!!!

The Bean even stopped handing out the Pink cards..!!! The ones that gave you every 10th Cup for free...What gives with that???? LAMEEEEEEEEEEE....
